How do you generate a QR code with a custom logo?

Enter your URL or text in the text field, upload a logo image, and the workflow produces a creative QR code with your logo centered inside it. You can change the dot style, eye style, colors, and logo size. All three code types generate at the same time from one input.

Text / URL This is the content your QR code encodes. Paste a URL, type a phone number, or enter any text. The same input feeds all three generators at once, so you only type it once.

Logo Image Upload the image you want centered in the creative QR code. The logo gets placed over the middle of the code. QR codes have built-in error correction, so scanners can still read the code around it.

Logo Scale (default: 0.23) Controls how much of the QR code your logo covers. Want a bigger logo? Go up to 0.3 or 0.35. The tradeoff: larger logos cover more data modules, which makes the code harder to scan. Stay under 0.3 for safer scanning.

Dot Style (default: Square) Changes the shape of the data dots in the creative QR. Square is the classic look. Try other styles to match your brand.

Eye Style (default: Square) Changes the shape of the three corner markers (the big squares in the corners). Matching your dot style keeps things consistent, but mixing them can give a more distinctive look.

Colors Standard QR: dark_color (default: black) and light_color (default: white). Creative QR: dot_color, bg_color, and eye_color, each defaulting to black or white. Want a branded QR? Set dot_color and eye_color to your brand color and keep bg_color white for best scan reliability.

Error Correction (default: H / 30%) Set to H (the highest level), which means 30% of the code can be damaged or covered and it still scans. This matters when you add a logo, because the logo covers part of the code. H gives you the most room. Lower levels (L, M, Q) make smaller codes but tolerate less obstruction.

Size Standard QR and Aztec output at 512px. Creative QR outputs at 1024px. These are fixed in the workflow but can be changed if you need a different resolution.

What is the maximum text length for a QR code? Standard QR codes hold up to about 4,296 alphanumeric characters at the lowest error correction level. At the H level (used in this workflow), capacity drops to about 1,852 characters. For URLs, that is more than enough. The workflow shows your character count before generating.

Can I change the colors of the QR code? Yes. The standard QR generator has dark_color and light_color fields. The creative QR generator has separate dot_color, bg_color, and eye_color fields. Keep high contrast between foreground and background or scanners will struggle.

What is the difference between a QR code and an Aztec code? QR codes are the square codes with three corner markers. Aztec codes are the bullseye-pattern barcodes you see on airline boarding passes and transit tickets. Aztec codes don't need a quiet zone (white border), so they work better in tight spaces. Both encode the same text.
