Build a Clip From a Prompt Write a prompt describing the scene, the action, and the camera. Seedance 2.0 builds the video and returns a clip. Turn audio on and it writes sound in the same pass. No input image needed.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1. Write your prompt Describe the scene, the action, and the camera. Detailed prompts with specific camera language land closest. Works great with: action sequences · 3D animation · cinematic scenes · product spots

Step 2. Pick a shape and length Choose a resolution, an aspect ratio, and a duration in seconds. All three are dropdowns.

Step 3. Hit run and download The clip is built, split into frames and audio, packed into a video file, and saved under video/Seedance2_T2V. Ready for: Premiere · DaVinci Resolve · CapCut · After Effects

First time? Leave every setting as-is. The defaults (720p · 5 seconds · 16:9 · audio off · random seed) are the right starting point for almost everyone.

• Want sound on the clip — Turn audio on. The model writes sound in the same pass as the picture. Describe the sound in the prompt for the closest match.

• Need a different shape — Switch the aspect ratio dropdown. Landscape, portrait, and square are available.

• The clip looks generic — Add more detail. Name the camera speed, the lighting, the texture of surfaces, and the atmosphere. Short vague prompts return short generic clips.

• Repeat a take you liked — Set a fixed seed number instead of leaving it on random. The same prompt, shape, and seed give you the same clip back.

• Want higher resolution — Raise the resolution dropdown. Resolution and duration together drive cost, so raise one at a time.

Prompt: Write it as a timeline. Subject and setting first: "Fight game with 3D animation style." Then action: "multi-angle combo sequence, each punch triggers a quick camera angle cut." Then atmosphere: "stylized motion blur, bold colour grading, arcade energy." Splitting the brief this way gives the model a clear read on what to build and how to shoot it.
